In Naples, which holds in its heart countless stories, we arrive at an old theater at the center of the city that is about to become a hotel. Ciretta is a young man who is often forced to sell his body but hopes to use his beautiful voice and love for Madonna to become part of the community fabric. The theatre is his haven and a place to concoct his dreams. Now, he is forced to find a new place of refuge. Gospel is a tender and woeful story about marginalized people who dream of being heroes and about a city that is rapidly changing.
