“I grew up in a classic Parisian household with little knowledge of my Jewish roots. Over the past few years, I have felt the need to look deeper into my family history and understand our Jewish heritage. The void left by the lack of information surrounding our origins was a real question for me, and for my father. When he died, I had begun shooting my documentary. Ultimately, my testimony is both historical and personal, exploring the history of the Jews in Alsace while bidding farewell to my father who shared my interests in Judaism” Ondine Debré.
