The screening of an LGBT film in Bucharest turns into a confrontation between the event's organizers and conservative right-wing activists. A journalist investigates if the police refrained from intervening out of homophobic motives. As in the best Romanian cinema, the personal is political, and every mistake has a hefty price. Dan Chisu sketches this story as a journalistic thriller, with round characters that, even in moments of weakness, evoke a degree of sympathy. The result is an excellent and effective drama.
