Six-year-old Stefek is convinced that the mysterious man he sees on the train is the father that abandoned the family years ago. Now he will try to trick destiny and lead the stranger back to his mother's whereabouts. Andrzej Jakimowski tenderly introduces us to the life of a small village while beautifully navigating within the human and physical landscapes of the place in a way that envelops the work with irony and poetry. The result is a triumphant comedy, which will leave you with a smile.
