An original live soundtrack for films by animator-director Suzan Pitt
The composer meets the singer together on stage, with a special festive screening - they embark on a journey of colours, characters and stories in the films of the pioneering animator Suzan Pitt.
Pitt, who passed away in 2019, was a unique, critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning painter and animation filmmaker. Her surrealist films explore environmental issues, sexuality and human emotions and remain relevant still today.
In the show, the films will get a live musical interpretation in an evening travelling from pop and soul music to jazz and pre-jazz.
