A documentary about the great soprano Anna Netrebko. Under Valery Gergiev's guidance, Netrebko made her operatic stage debut at Saint Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theater at age 22, as Susanna in Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. She is a frequent guest of the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, Mariinsky Theatre, and Royal Opera House in London. The Russian filmmaker Dmitry Sapun follows her at home in Russia and New York and on the road as she prepares for her performances. The film also features interviews with Anna herself, her family, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Piotr Beczala and many of her supporters such as Valery Gergiev and Plácido Domingo.
