The Son

Dima was killed in 2013 in the line of duty. He served as part of an elite force. The director, Dima’s cousin, follows the new recruits of Dima’s unit as they go through intense training, as well as Dima’s parents’ attempts to come to terms with what has happened. The two universes intertwine to portray a community and a shared and private experience.
