Jacques Rivette – Three Short Films
Dir.: Jacques Rivette | 100 minutes

Other Screenings

The first three shorts by Jacques Rivette. An opportunity to discover these “apprenticeship films”, as they were called by their creator, that bear witness to his budding artistic engagement. From a succession of animated scenes that invite the spectator to create their own story, to a meandering walk through the gardens of Paris, these are just some of the original devices that foreshadow the filmmaker’s tone and exceptional poetry. 2K restoration by Les Films du Veilleur and La Cinיmathטque franחaise in partnership with La Cinיmathטque de Toulouse and the Digimage lab.
