Switzerland, 1971. Nora, a housewife and mother, leads the women of her town in a fight of solidarity, when the referendum concerning women’s right to vote is put up for voting (by men of course). Petra Volpe converts these political issues into an affective period drama the successfully combines the heartfelt with humor.
