The backStorygroup delegation of film & television producers and film score professionals will be in Israel on a cultural mission on September 1-8, with our participant composer Jeff Beal conducting House of Cards in Concert at Binyanei Ha'uma on September, 7 (https://www.jcamerata.com/en).
The backStorygroup is an American nonprofit organization whose mission is to expand Americans' understanding of Israel to include its vibrant and diverse cultural life.
This evening, we will be presenting an event on Film, Television & Music, from the perspectives of composers and producers.

Panelists:
Jeff Beal is the Emmy Award-winning composer for the Netflix series House of Cards. His other credits include the films Boston, Pollock, and Blackfish.
Peter Golub, Composer and Director of the Sundance Film Music Program. He scored, among others, The Great Debaters and The Laramie Project. His scores for Broadway include The Heiress, The Country House, and Hedda Gabler.

Rick Allen is the founding CEO of SnagFilms and has produced a number of award-winning films including Kicking It and A Fighting Chance for ESPN, and the 2014 documentary, Lost for Life. Under his tenure as CEO at National Geographic, the National Geographic Channel was launched.
Mitchell Cannold was the Executive Producer of COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey, the Emmy award-winning Fox Network 2014 series. Mitchell produced the first five Imax 3D dramatic films and 20 feature films, including Dirty Dancing. He is Chairman and CEO of WorldWide Travel Media.
