Dov, a clumsy Mossad agent on a mission in Istanbul, believes he has identified a target from an intelligence organization called "Gilgamesh." A later investigation seeks to understand why and how Dov became involved with Gilgamesh. Jonathan Dekel won the Ophir Award a decade ago for his short film April's Fool, which showcased a filmmaker with visual talent and a mischievous sense for drama. Here, he demonstrates those same qualities in an unconventional spy comedy. Dekel is unafraid to move back and forth within the narrative, playing with perspectives to give the story cinematic momentum. The result is a witty and unique work from a promising director.
