Chief Executive of UK Jewish Film and a Member of the Board of Trustees. He has been integral in growing UK Jewish Film into a nationwide festival, film production hub, and education charity. In 2021, he established the Dangoor UKJF Short Doc Fund, which has already commissioned and produced 20 short documentary films. He also oversees the Pears Short Film Fund, whose films have won over 70 international awards. In 2024, he established a new film project for short films focused on British-Jewish identity. Michael graduated in Law from Balliol College, Oxford University. He holds a Licentiate Performance Diploma in Cello and studied Orchestral Conducting at the Jerusalem’s Rubin Academy of Music and Dance under the late Mendi Rodan. He is the Founder and Musical Director of vocal ensemble, Mosaic Voices and is former Chairman of the Young Actors Theatre, Islington, and member of the historic New West End Synagogue in central London.
