A Coca-Cola executive in 1960 divided Berlin is given the task of taking care of his boss' daughter, in town for a visit. Unfortunately, she finds a love interest in an East-Berliner, who despises capitalism and its most prominent symbol: Coca-Cola. Billy Wilder takes apart the Cold War with a nimble and effective comedy.
