We hope you have enjoyed the Cinematheque’s online programming offered for the past few months. But now, and in accordance with regulations, we are happy to announce that the Cinematheque is opening its doors and will begin regular screenings on June 22.

Here is what is planned in the upcoming moths:

If you missed the online program “The Day After?” – on issues the world is facing post COVID 19 – we are happy to offer a selection of the program with premieres, new films, and filmed discussions with leading speakers from around the world.

ReFilm, our restoration film festival returns with a new edition, and alongside classics, we will also present remarkable discoveries.

Moving forward into the summer months, we will hold a tribute to Russia’s largest and most important production company, Mosfilm; Czech That, the annual Czech film week; a selection of Cinema Italia; and of course the best films of the past year, the best of Israeli cinema, and all the best the Cinematheque has to offer.

The program for the first week is now online.

As a reminder, the memberships were frozen for the duration of the COVID 19 closure. Your membership will automatically be extended for the number of days the Cinematheque was closed (15.03-21.06.2020)
